New Year's Eve torchlight skiing

Celebrate the New Year with us by joining the torchlight skiing on the Stelvio slope.

You will have a wonderful skiing experience together with the ski instructors of Bormio. The torchlight line will start from Ciuk (1.650 m) and will slowly proceed all the way down to the Ski Stadium in Bormio (1,225 m).

For the occasion the cableway Bormio - Bormio 2000 will stay open for free.

For information and booking for the New Year's Eve dinner on the mountain huts of the ski area we suggest you to contact directly the owners. You can find phone numbers and email addresses in the section Deli.

Schedule - December 31, 2013

  • 5.00 pm meeting participants at the bottom station of the cableway Bormio - Bormio 2000
  • 5.00-5.20 pm free entrance to cableway
  • 5.30 pm distribution of free torches in San Pietro (on the Stelvio)
  • 6.00 pm start torchlight skiing from San Pietro, arrival to Ski Stadium Atleti Azzurri d'Italia. After Vin Brulè and sweets, bon fire and music with dj Fausto Molinari
