BORMIO – SKI STADIUM – FEBRUARY 21&22
One week after the event that has painted Bormio's night with the brightest colors it is now time to look at the numbers of We Glow's "stage zero".
We Glow took place on February 21 & 22 in Bormio and was organized by the major national sports newspaper, La Gazzetta dello Sport. Bormio hosted the first stage ever of this event which is going to be a real tour next winter and is probably going to spread quickly over the peninsula.
The tickets for the night event went easily sold out reaching 1,300 subscribers who took part at the most colorful and fun night skiing event of all the time.
Along the ski slopes Stelvio and Genziana the “weglowers” skied by five different worlds, made of unbelievable light and sound installations. The experience of those taking part would get even more intense thanks to the light gadgets that skiers would get for free at the bottom of the slopes and then wear while skiing creating an unprecedent luminous avalanche.
The village set at the bottom of the Stelvio, more than 600 square meters, was constantly fun since morning time thanks to the speakers of Radio m2o being broadcasted live. The highest moment of the night was reached when the dj Joe T Vannelli made his final performance on the stage.
On Sunday lots of other activities continued during the day mostly for children's entertainment: photo shooting, creative games, Carnival make-up games and then the fantastic Ski Simulator powered by Asus, surely great appreciated by adults too.
