World Cup. Slopes management

On December 29 Bormio will host the World Cup Men's downhill for the 22nd time since 1984. 

More than 60 racers from 14 nations are expected to show up and battle for the win on the Stelvio. The beauty, the spectacular show and the difficulty of this race make it one of the most emotional of the FIS Alpine Ski Championship. So, don't miss it!

The schedule

SCHEDULE BORMIO AUDI FIS ALPINE SKI WORLD CUP
Thursday December 27 – DH – First Training from 11.45 a.m. to about 1.45 p.m.
Friday December 28 – DH – Second Training from 11.45 a.m. to about 1.45 p.m.
Saturday December 29 – DH – Race from 11.45 a.m. to about 1.45 p.m.

The Stelvio slope will remain closed from Wednesday 26 to Saturday 29 after the end of the race. Bormio town will always be reachable with skis on from Bormio 2000 by taking the slope Genziana and the Bosco Basso. In Ciuk you will take the tunnel which will be always open to cross the Stelvio and reach Bosco Basso.

Also, from December 27 t0 29 you can use a free ski-bus from Hotel Funivia to the bottom station of the cableway from 9.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.
