We have been waiting and waiting and finally on the best day it has come: the snow! We couldn't receive a better Christmas present than this. From late afternoon yesterday up until now a copious and heavy snowfall has covered in white Bormio. Above 1400-1500 m we've had wet and heavy snow which is very precious since it's going to add a lot of centimer up to the snow level on piste. In town (1225 m) we've mostly seen alternation of snow and rain because of the temperature above zero °C.
Today strong danger avalanche and consequent closing of the lifts at the top from 2600 to 3000 meters.

- Bormio 2000: 40 cm
- Bormio town: 15 cm
