The Snowpark Bormio is officially closed for the season 2011/2012.
For sure it has been a very hard season concerning the bad weather conditions with little natural snow and warm temperatures which made us postpone the opening and modify the project based on the snowpark renewal.
Thanks to the technical collaboration with Doors Snowpark Structures and the main sponsors df Sport Specialist and Burton Italia the growth will be continuous and enduring. BormioSki's wish is to enlarge the park zone and maybe find an alternative spot from the current one. It's been clear that our care to the requirements of the youth were met with the new structures in the park and with the big freestyle events like King of Night and Braulio Vertical Tour.
Despite the bad weather, the park has always been looking good and that's thanks to our shapers Fabio Kong and Fabri and our snow-cat drivers who have daily shaped kickers and flats.
Take a look at this funny video about their daily routine:
BormioSki also wants to say thank you to all the ski schools (Scuola Sci Anzi, Scuola Sci Nazionale, Scuola Sci Bormio Alta Valtellina, Scuola Sci Contea di Bormio, Scuola Sci Gallo Cedrone, Scuola Sci Sertorelli, Scuola Snowboard Hang Five) for collaborating with the max professionalism at the Disney XD contests.

So see you next year with other news and let's hope in a lot of snow!!
