After five months of though work and a two-million € investment, BormioSki has inaugurated today, one day before the official winter opening, the new cablecar "whitelady3000".
The lift, expired at the end of the season 2012/13, has been modernized and renewed for 16 more years.
The investment is essential for the ski area of Bormio because the cablecar is the only lift that can carry pedestrians all the way to the top; from up there they can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Alps directly from the beautiful and cozy restaurant "Heaven 3000". The cablecar is also the only lift that can remain open in case of strong wind and it is fundamental in summer time for bikers to reach the peak of the mountain.
