• DYNAMIC RATES ON SHOP.BORMIOSKI.EU

If you purchase 4-hour, daily, or multi-day ski passes through our online channel at shop.bormioski.eu in advance of your chosen date, prices are not fixed but dynamic. This means they vary from day to day depending on the remaining availability. You could find your ski pass discounted from 5% up to 25% compared to the same ticket purchased at the ticket office on the same day. However, please note that discounted ski passes are limited in quantity and may sell out quickly. The earlier you purchase, the more you save. Shop.bormioski.eu

Buying your ski pass online in advance offers several significant advantages:

Skip the line: By purchasing your ski pass online, you can avoid the ticket line. You can have the pass sent directly to your home or pick it up on site. At the ticket office, Snowit passes are located on the external shelf of the cash registers. Take one, log into your account on the Bormio Ski shop, access your order, and click on the "activate your ski pass" button. Enter the pass code. Once the operation is complete, your ski pass is activated and you can go skiing!

Save money: Buying in advance allows you to guarantee the best possible price. Remember: the earlier you buy, the less you spend.

Ensure the best: Rent skis, book lessons and experiences, and build your ideal vacation package with just a few clicks. Guaranteed quality service and 7/7 assistance.

There's no deadline to buy your ski pass. You can purchase all types of tickets online throughout the entire season. However, discounted tickets (5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, or 25% off) are limited and may sell out quickly, especially during peak periods like long weekends.

If you know your exact travel dates, it's best to buy your ski pass as soon as possible. The maximum discount you can get is 25%. Once a discount level sells out, the system automatically switches to the next available discount.

You might still find a good deal online up until the day before you arrive. Check our online shop now!

Online purchased ski passes are non-refundable, non-modifiable, and non-transferable. This applies even in cases of partial use, vacation cancellation, illness, or force majeure.

All instructions for activating your pass can be found in your order confirmation email. Visit the Bormio Ski ticket offices and collect a Snowit card from the designated area for online purchases. Access the "Orders" section of your account on the Bormio Ski shop and select Check-In. Enter the 8-digit number on the back of your new Snowit Card to activate your ski pass. Your Snowit Card is now active, and you can proceed to the lift and pass through the turnstile.
If you already have a Snowit Card linked to your account, your ski pass has already been activated automatically after your purchase.

We are truly sorry, but we cannot assist you. As stated in the purchase terms and conditions, skipasses purchased online are neither refundable, modifiable, nor transferable.

Please contact Snowit customer support; they will be able to help you.

We cannot trace the issuance code of a 4-hour, daily, or multi-day skipass. We recommend taking a photo of your skipass before you start skiing. If you lose it and have a photo of the keycard code, we can block the previous card and issue a new one at a cost of €30 + €5 deposit for the new keycard. Without a prior photo, unfortunately, we will not be able to assist you.

Visit the ticket office, fill out a loss self-certification form, and we can reissue your document at a cost of €30 + €5 additional deposit for the new keycard.

• SEASONAL PASS

Ski enthusiasts can choose from three types of passes:

  1. The Bormio seasonal pass: Valid in Bormio, Cima Piazzi-San Colombano, and Santa Caterina. It can be purchased as a single payment at an advantageous rate.
  2. The Alta Valtellina seasonal pass: Usable in Bormio, Cima Piazzi-San Colombano, Santa Caterina, and Livigno, also available at an advantageous rate.
  3. NEW for 2024! The Bormio PowerPass Pay Per Use seasonal pass by Snowit: Valid in Bormio, Cima Piazzi-San Colombano, and Santa Caterina. This card is linked to your account. Upon activation, you pay an initial fee of €15.

Afterward, based on your skiing activity, the best rate available from the price list is automatically deducted from your account. If the user reaches a preset spending cap of €910 (equivalent to the cost of the Bormio seasonal pass), every additional ski day is free. More details are available at Snowit.it

All options are valid, and each skier should evaluate which is most convenient for them:

For local skiers who frequently visit Bormio, we recommend the Bormio Skipass.
If you also ski regularly in Livigno, consider the Alta Valtellina pass.
For those unsure of how often they will ski, who prefer not to pay upfront for a seasonal pass, but still hope to ski frequently, the Pay Per Use option is ideal.

Visit the ticket office, fill out a loss self-certification form, and we will reissue your document for €30 plus an additional €5 deposit for the new keycard.

• INSURANCE

Yes, since January 1, 2022, Italian law requires all skiers to hold liability insurance covering damages unintentionally caused to third parties or property.

If you already have private insurance, you won’t need to activate another policy.
Otherwise, you can purchase SnowCare insurance at the ticket office when buying your skipass. Snowcare can also be added during the online purchase process.

At the time of purchase, customers are asked if they would like to activate the SnowCare liability insurance.

Cost: €3.00/day for adults/seniors and €1.50/day for children.
Coverage includes Legal Protection, Emergency Medical Expenses, Driver Assistance, Rescue on Italian and foreign slopes, Skipass refund due to injury, illness, or quarantine, and refunds for lesson or equipment rental cancellations due to injury. Learn more by clicking here.

Partial refunds for skipasses are available only in the case of a ski-related injury, verified by a medical certificate from an emergency room, confirming the inability to ski.

Refunds apply exclusively to the injured person; tickets for accompanying family members are not refundable.
Refunds are not available for other reasons, such as illness or personal circumstances. Refund Policy Details:

Seasonal Passes: Refunds are calculated weekly from the date of purchase, deducting 30% for the first week and decreasing thereafter. No refunds are issued after nine weeks from the purchase date.
Multi-Day Passes: The refund is the difference between the price paid and the price of the skipass corresponding to the days used.
Refund requests must be made by the end of the ski season by writing to info@bormioski.it or contacting the Bormio Ski administrative offices.
